WATERCOLOUR RESCUE CLINIC

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Stuck? Paintings not finished? Don’t know when it’s done? Join my clinic with a group critique, followed by demos in making changes and corrections, reclaiming your whites (dependent on quality of paper and paints) and strengthen your designs by cropping. Students will work on their own paintings with individual help. Warning: paintings may be transformed during this workshop!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Marlene Madole is an elected member and a Past-President of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour (CSPWC). Marlene is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts, Sheridan College with studies at the Ontario College of Art & Design. She has instructed in drawing, painting, and printmaking for over 17 years including at: Royal Ontario Museum, The Leighton Art Centre of Calgary, Art Gallery of Peel, Visual Arts Mississauga, Neilson Park Creative Centre, Peel Board of Education, Glen Williams, Beaux-Arts Brampton, as well as at individual art societies.
Marlene Madole’s subjects include: heritage architecture, fruit in the orchard, the Canadian landscape, en plein air and the figure. Marlene maintains a Studio/Gallery in the Williams Mill Visual Arts Centre, where she was one of the founding artists in 1995. BUSINESS HOURS: Tuesday to Friday Noon to 6 pm AND Saturday 9 am to 3 pm
DISCOUNTS: For registrations paid 4 weeks prior to the start date of any courses offered by Beaux-Arts Brampton you get a $10.00 discount on the fee. (*Does not apply to classes offered by independent instructors) Seniors & Beaux-Arts Members get a $10.00 discount on all Beaux-Arts run classes. Your place in the class is not reserved until your payment is received.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: In the event the minimum enrollment is not achieved 14 days prior to the start date of the class, the class may be cancelled and your payment fully refunded. Every effort will be made to reschedule the class at a later date. There are no refunds for no show participants.
WITHDRAWALS: If you wish to withdraw from the program, your fee minus a $25.00 Administration Charge will be refunded only if requested in writing at least 14 days prior to the start day of the class.
