With a Art & Art History Degree from the University of Toronto and an Interpretive Illustration Diploma from
Sheridan College, Michelle Eissler joined Beaux-Arts Brampton in 2007. Her large scale work approaches the surreal and her stylized imagery comes from imagination. Michelle’s paintings capture a dreamlike moment often consisting
of water, leaves and the human figure. The images in Michelle’s paintings are metaphors for emotion and the complexities of being alive. With the use of mediums, she strives for a vibrancy and interesting play of colour which has as much importance as the figures themselves. In the years to come her work will continue to explore her interest in the mystical cycles and balances of life.
