Jay (Jaswant) SinghArtist Statement: Art for me is a mystically magical journey of self awareness and discovery. Part of the magic is "THE MYSTERY" What we are; Where we came from; and Where do we go? The conflict within, encouraging me to create these works. I translate my spiritual and worldly experiences into images through various media and techniques. Using symbols, words and images in bold colors, I like to work with Acrylic Colors as well as Water and Oil Colors. Meditation enables me to transform a landscape into the intangibles of the visual message.
I may be inspired by the creation of nature, but my intention is to render it in its simplest, most exciting colors and shapes to convey personal emotions and experiences.
