Janina R. BrooksCreating art is an emotional experience for me, a reflection of my relationship with life, my desire for self-expression and experimentation. Painting has been a serious hobby since I was a child and have taken numerous art courses along the way, but my inspirational passions ignited while attending classes with Lila Lewis Irving.
My non-objective/abstract paintings are acrylic on paper and canvas and undergo revisions along the way sometimes toward an unexpected result . I feel my paintings are bold and arouse a gamut of emotions.
