Brenda EverettBrenda Everett was raised in Victoria Beach, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia. Brenda always had an interest in drawing and sketching but it wasn’t until later in her adult life that she could see how colour brought out her own unique style.
After raising her family in Nova Scotia, Brenda moved to Ontario where her artistic talent continued to develop. Through her travelled experiences, Eastern values and the appreciation of the arts, history and culture such talent is depicted with beauty and clarity in her artwork. She uses vibrant colour choices in her oil pieces that draw her audience in .
Although, mostly self taught Brenda has strengthened her artistic eye by taking workshops with some of the best known Canadian artists, Jack Reid, Barry Coombs and Kelly McNeil. Watercolour and oil are her media of choice at the moment.
Brenda has also been a member of the Orangeville Art Group since 2001, and continues to display her work at Headwaters Hospital in Orangeville. To view Brenda’s art work visit:
