About the Artist
Born and educated in Hamilton Ontario, Gord has called Brampton his home since 1969. The proximity to both urban and rural settings has made this city a great place to live and paint. Gord's watercolours often include landscapes with snow or water in them. He is especially fascinated by water reflections.
A graphic designer by trade, his love of watercolours led him back to courses at Sheridan College and workshops with famed watercolour artist Jack Reid. His use of brilliant colour makes for unique paintings.
Gord's work has been displayed at Art Galleries in Brampton, Caledon, Kitchener, Woodbridge, Black Creek Pioneer Village in Toronto, Art In The Park, The Mayor's Luncheon and the NATO Luncheon held in Brampton. His last show was at Edwards Gardens in Toronto, Ontario and was very successful.
