About the Artist
I am a self-taught artist residing in the Brampton area. I work mainly in acrylic on Masonite, but have experimented in mixed media, recently working in body castings. A love for wildlife has been a driving factor in my art. I was a major developer, and contributor to the Visual Arts Brampton 2003 floral arts calendar, a Brampton sesquicentennial floral arts celebration. I was also in the Visual Arts Brampton 2004 landscape calendar. I am the President of the Mississauga Arts Society and the President of Beaux-Arts Brampton. I was instrumental in creating Beaux-Arts 1st annual calendar for 2005 , I have had many shows in the gallery and outside, including the Peel Gallery, Brampton City Hall, Mississauga Gallery and also have a piece hanging at MP Linda Jeffery's Office at Queens Park. I have participated in several juried shows, including Beaux-Arts and The Mississauga Juried show. I host life drawing open studio workshops, at my own studio. You may have also seen my work on "Arts in B-Town" a Rogers Cable T.V. program. My work hangs in many private collections, at Queens Park, in local Galleries and at my Studio.
