Bring your favourite colours. Optional: I also like the metallics: bronze, silver, micaceous iron oxide, etc
Paper: 22’ x 30” watercolour paper. 140 lb hot press or cold press. 200 lb is better and Currys has a good price on their own brand of 200 lb. Canvas is fine to work on also, later in the week.
Brushes: Very large. Some that are 3”,4” 5” or even larger. A few smaller, like 1”.The brushes should be natural bristle, even those from your basement., If you can find 6 or 8” that would be even better. At Gwartzmans you can usually find , 8” and even larger. Sometimes Currys has 8” and 10.”
A few round brushes, small and large.
Containers to mix up the paint with water—large enough to fit a 4” brush, with tight covers. The Ziplock or Glad containers for food are fine. One for each colour. These are IMPORTANT!!!
Small sketch book
A board covered in plastic a little larger than the paper.
Large plastic sheet to cover table
A free spirit and joy!

My Painting is an energetic and intense process which results in emotional abstracted work, deeply felt. The impetus is a response to a visual, an emotional or a musical world, or all three. The shapes are bold and simplified, the colours saturated, the brushstrokes energetic.
